Sally is an educator and mother of four kids, ages 14 to 22. She grew up in Alaska, graduated from the University of Washington in Economics and earned her teaching degree at Seattle Pacific University. Over the past 25 years, Sally has been a full time classroom teacher, a learning resource teacher, a private teacher and tutor, an advisory committee member for a K-8 school, and owner of a private Kindergarten. She has also studied and given presentations on the topic of boys in our world today. She, her husband Chris, and their kids lived in Bend, Oregon for eight years before returning home to Seattle in 2020. Sally is certified and trained in the Smart But Scattered method of Executive Function Skills coaching. She believes that sometimes our kids just need a map and a guide to find their way!
